Live streaming through the Ceeblue Streaming Cloud API: multi-format ingest (RTMP, SRT, WebRTC, RTSP), passthrough or multiprofile transcode, viewer outputs (HLS, LL-HLS, DASH, CMAF, WebRTC, WRTS), recording, push relays, and full lifecycle in Streamcake.

Streamcake integrates with the Ceeblue Streaming Cloud API to orchestrate live workflows end to end: JWT authentication; Create Input Stream with input format, access mode, optional GSLB, passthrough or transcoding with optional overlay, and per-format viewer outputs; Activate Stream to start recordings and create push outputs; Stop Stream to stop recordings, remove pushes, invalidate playback sessions, and build a VOD replay URL; Delete Stream for list-then-delete cleanup of all resources.

Multi-Format Ingest

Create Input Stream supports RTMP, SRT, WebRTC, and RTSP with configurable access (Public, Private, Private Ingoing) and optional GSLB.

Passthrough or Transcode

Passthrough passes A/V unaltered; multiprofile transcoding with H264/VP8 and AAC/Opus/MP3 tracks, plus optional image overlay when transcoding.

Viewer Outputs

Per-format endpoints for HLS, LL-HLS, DASH, CMAF, WebRTC, and WRTS with optional session limits and callbacks.

Global Server Load Balancing

Optional GSLB lets Ceeblue select placement using geography, load, and network conditions; optional NodeGroupId for deterministic routing.

Recording and VOD

Activate Stream starts recordings (MP4/MKV/TS/FLV) to pre-configured storage; Stop Stream builds a VOD URL from the recording and can map to your CDN domain.

Push and Relay Outputs

Activate Stream creates RTMP, CMAF, Internode, and UDPTS pushes; Phase 2 Create Stream Input adds RTMP relays to an existing stream — simulcast-friendly.

Ingress Health

Polls Ceeblue statistics for ingress bitrate with configurable warning and error thresholds in bps — suitable for operations dashboards.

Lifecycle: Create to Delete

Create Input Stream, Create Stream Input (Phase 2), Activate Stream, Stop Stream (VOD + session invalidate), Delete Stream (full resource cleanup) — orchestrated in Streamcake.
